Getting the most out of it - we offer various additional components, with corresponding benefits for your application and the final product.

We can provide the following treatments for your semi-finished plastic products if required:

UV stabilisation

Strong sunlight can make polymers become brittle or lose their colour. UV stabilizers are added in order to prevent this.

Antistatic

Antistatic treatment prevents sheets from becoming statically charged and dusty; in the case of very thin plates it prevents them from becoming difficult to unstack.

Talc reinforcement

Increased rigidity and altered processing behaviour and shrinkage can be achieved by adding talc.

Chalk as a filler

When used as filler, chalk changes the processing behaviour and can also lead to higher efficiency.

Anti-slip coating / PE soft coating

In order to protect packaged goods in thermoformed parts and to prevent these from slipping, our sheets can be treated with a TPE (anti-slip) coating.

Marking/labelling strips

In order to aid optical detection/differentiation of load carriers etc., marking strips of 50 to 200 mm in width can be applied to positions specified by the customer. Like the sheets, these are also thermoformable.

Electrical conductivity

Electrically conductive treatment with specific surface resistivity of <10Ω

Co-extrusion

AB/BA/ABA layers (A = virgin, B = recycled or blend of recycled and virgin)

Texture

Fine or coarse (see also Surface structure)
